New Muiscal Project and other news

I have decied that i am going to write a musical base upon the novel: The Phantom of The Opera.
My version will be a trulfull apation of the novel staying cloose to the book and not go off any beaten paths. Moreover, i will incoperate the persian naritve part of the novel into the musical.
I will posts scores both orcherstal and piano formats at sibeliusmusic.com so you can listen to them.
I wll hopefull will have a website that will have info about the show and stuff.
I will probably have a song writen sometime next month will i know more about the plot,
so, stay tuned.

In other news: i will be writing a blues/jazz piece for orchersta and solo piano on the side of this. that will be posted by early-mid octoeber.

Part two: Under the seas and other news

I have changed my mind about writing a musical stage version of 20,000 under the seas. Instead it will be a sysphonic suite( more of a progam symphony). It will be a very fun project to do this. this will be a better idea then a musical.

I am reading phantom of the opera right now and loving. but i don't know if i will turn it into a musical. I will let you know. probably when i am done with it.

My New musical Prjoect (Part One)
After reading 20,ooo leagues under the sea, I was inspired and detirme to turn this masterpiece into a musical.
There will be some changes but nothing to drastic (i.e. change the plot of the story).
The changes will be to fit the musical into stage.
Since the main thurst of the novel is the vollage that the main characters go through, i will keep that .
The changes will be subtle and small. The music will be very interesting to write for.
I will tell what everything is about in the segments that willl follow.
I will be working on preparing for this summer.
This is a munch better idea intead of frankentsien.

Other news:
In other news I will be rehreahing and rehearsening my skills to compose music.
This will be done by doing small compositions and reading a book on how to compose music.

The trouble of emails

Here is my thoughts and my furastions on email:
so i emailed someone asking how they do something.
Being coroius and all, just be a fellow composer try get adice.
this is always a good thing but no some asked who i was. like i did something wrong by emailing him/her.
so i emailed them back telling who i was.
Hopefully, i will get a friendly reply back from this composer.

summer plans

Well, it that time of the year again when a composer life gets very very busy.

For me that means:

A. Start working on long waited project( frankenstine)

B. Writing some small compositions in between

C. and write a web site for frankinstine.

Frankenstine:

This is a musical idea that got one day while reading the novel.

It seems that hollowood never does a good presenation of the novel.

for one thing, he never used lighting to be the creature to life and it was it in castle.

secondly, this adapation will be the cloosest as it can be (aka there will small and subtle changes while following the plot).

I will be writing the book, music, lyrics.

Also i will orcherstate the music.

this will save me alot of money.

Small side projects:

Some small projects that i will write are:

1. The beach and ocean suite for paino and later for paino/orchesrta

2. Majestic mountians paino suite

3. and a waltz(WIP)

4. a jazz sonata in Dm

Also, during the fall i will teach myself on orcherstating music( something that i want wanted to do).

My vacation in aspen

Hello outthere,
I just came back from a jam packed vacation in aspen, colorado. This is one of the ski resort. There were four mountains out there. I mainly skied 3/4 of the mountains. Also, due to the fanatasic weather, i did not had to wear hat and cloves. Intresrting effect called inverse can happen. This is when the tempurate on top of the mountain is warmer than on the bottom. This even makes nicer than it can be. while i was there, i had 6 fantasic meals. Then it hit me, i could write an impressist composition base on this. I knew i was going to write a piece on snowflakes but this will even better. So this is my next annoucemnt for: the majestic mountain range.:)

Frankentsien Project: Part One and other stuff

Today, I am annocuning my first musical project. It will be base on the novel Frankenstien.
Once i have red it i will post a brief plotoverview,major themes, and musical ideas.
In other news:
I went home this weekend to see my mom, dad, and my pet dog.
I saw the Messengers.(don't go if you get scared easily)
I also stared writing a piece called snowflakes

Fun Times and Hard Times

Have you a hard a day where life seems to go in two directions. Well, that's how it is like for me sometimes. Take yesterday for instance. I started to begin my second sonata but I couldn't think of anything at all. So, I decided to at laest write a few bars which seems nothing at the time. So, I decided to rest on it. Then this moring i got a brain blast that I should write a 20th century composition in the style of Debusy. For those who don't, he is a 20th composer who breaks the ice(meaning that he started to use new ideas). I am going to call this comoposition Snowflakes( more on that after i write it). In addation, I am also planing to write more piano sonatas in the future, possibly a couple of noctunres, and two waltzs. As a side note for people who are having hard times, just keeping chucking away. Sooner or later, you will find a good idea
